    The he green on the stems and coral or red which ever it is on the flowers sounds great. Also that green chevron that's your ironing board looks like a great border or binding. Lol

    My personal choice would be to appliqué them with invisible thread, and if you are going to embellish them within the pieces, use a coordinating or matching colour. Or change thread colours for each piece to match when appliqueing. A high contrast colour of thread I feel would take away from your appliqué.

    LOVE YOUR QUILT TOP! THE Colors are beautiful! Only I am not too good on those thread choices.. lol..
    But I have to say... I think your ironing board cover with the green chevron would look very cute on this!

    Since most of us go with whatever is the easiest and quickest, usually I go with Ecru. It blends with most everything and we always have it on hand. The other suggestions are great, and most anything would look good.
    I don't take the lazy way out, jus seems like there aren't enough hours in the day!!
