But that is not your question. I see way too much green in your paw border. Can you put a sub-border of an inch or so around the cats to stop them from intruding into the border? Then size the paw border down so that they are only two paws wide? I.E. like a two legged cat and not a three legged mongrel? I have a whole bunch of these kittys sewed up myself, and I didn't know how to finish them off. Looking at what you have created has inspired me to go back to the drawing board myself. :-) Had to copy this from Nadine: The biggest troublemaker you'll probably ever have to deal with, looks at you from the mirror every morning.

I'm kind of considering now, after fussing with these paw prints for a few days, to just not make them. They're just taking too much time and I have to get it done.
I'll keep trying diff. options today and tomorrow but then I have to move on!
But I'm defiinitely going to put at least one narrow border on first. That has been a very good suggestion that several people have had.

I think the paw prints are really cute and a great idea.
I think it would make a difference if you separated the paw blocks from the cats. I would add a border (maybe 2 or 3"), the paw blocks and then finish it off with another border. Separating it would also make the paws appear smaller.
