    I agree that the last one, #1 is the one you should use. It makes it pop!

    Definitely the purple, it makes each square stand out as a separate piece, and gives them great definition. Now if you want to use the light green as an outer border, that could work, but you need the purple surrounding the squares.

    PURPLE! It really sets the blocks off well and is the best choice in my opinion.
