I have 4 half yard pieces of "snack" fabric" pretzels, popcorn, mixed nuts and chocolate chip cookies all with black background. I need suggestions for a quilt block pattern that will show off the designs.

I was also thinking a jar quilt would be great.

D9P, with the feature blocks in the corners, pick another color for the center and another solid for the other 4, they will look like sashing

A jar quilt sounds great. Or cut them into 8" squares, then put a 1" border of a bright color around each. Then use corner stones and another sashing. Clear as mud? :)

Another vote for jar quilt. You make the jars bigger and wider like the old fashioned candy jars.
