Need quilt design for Mickey Mouse
I have the pillow panels for Mickey and the center square I want to use is 11.5x11.5 and there is a contrasting area 3x3 around the panel. I want to make a crib quilt using this as a center panel. It needs to be very simple (no fancy triangles or corners) and I'm going to back it with flannel and hand tie it. I have plenty of coordinating fabric to cut for pieces.
Need suggestions for a simple "FREE" pattern that I can follow so that I don't have to do a lot of thinking!! Christmas stress is beginning to creep in. LOL

Maybe you could look around for Mickey prints that are small scale and use coordinating primary colors. Use your panel for the center, then a primary color border, then a small scale Mickey border, then a different primary color border, then a Mickey, etc. till you get the quilt the size you want. I know there are LOADS of Disney prints available so it wouldn't be too hard to find some for borders. Sounds like a cute idea, good luck!

these are just some ideas to build the panel out to a quilt. you would just adapt to how you want it to look. also try this link for some ideas. http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/techni...jects_ss1.html
