    Thanks for the link it is exactly what i have been looking for. I live with my son and family and would like to create a "Happy Place" in my bedroom.

    Do you have an IKEA store near you. I saw a curved computer table there that I am going to buy and use as a sewing table.

    I was at Walmart this morning and actually saw this very same craft/sewing table. It's a lot of table/storage for the little bit of money they are asking. Wish I needed a new one!

    Isn't it amazing what she did with the closet! I bookmarked it when my sewing studio that is now in the planning stage, becomes a reality.

    I gree with emmah--cheapest solution and there is storage in the filing cabinets and underneath the door/table.

    i bought mine used at dav for 40 bucks. it is a L shaped desk i put my ironing pad on the right to press blocks or whatever needs it as i go.I have also put a flat closet door that was not being used using a file cabinet under each side for something temperary when renting once. worked great for me.plenty of room and very sturdy.

    I've never had a "sewing table" per se, used a folding table, then part of an old desk, now I just use a portable folding table as my sewing table. That's al I have, so Ineed to get one.

    Check Walmart & walmart.com, sometimes it is on there cheaper.
