I'd get my machine back, fixed or not. When I'm unhappy and person doing repair seems unresponsive, I usually cut my losses and get my stuff back. Never been sad when I take care of me, only when I don't. Hope that gives you encouragement to trust your little voice and do what's best for you, not the repair person.

I didn't read through all the posts, but I looked in my user manual and the E1 error says it's a circuit board error.
I don't think I would have gotten that confused with a "fuse" error if I were a dealer.

Hope you get your machine back soon and running smoothly.

I guess the motherboard is the main board that makes the machine run. The serviceperson said there are several other boards in the machine, but this is the most important one. I have the machine back and it is running great. Keeping my fingers crossed.

A couple people mentioned a dealer in Howell, Michigan. We live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan now, but our family is in Jackson not far from Howell. If I have a problem againg it would be a good excuse to go back and visit family and take my machine there.

So happy you got your machine back. I would hate being without mine even though I have a backup. The machine I use the most and have on the table all the time is my favorite.

Have you stitched on your machine yet? Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
