Hmmm. Would you be willing to send me the EQ file? I can print it out and sew some test blocks and see if I get the same problem.

It looks more like an optical illusion than an error?

I often use it--but EQ7 is supposed to make things easier! ;-)

I didn't take a close up of the problem--and I agree the over pattern hides this issue well--like curly hair covering a bad cut. lol But I know it's there. lol

I was hoping someone would say "Oh, yes--I've had that problem with EQ7 and this is how I fixed it...." But--it has to be me somewhere--either cutting or sewing. I've never had this issue before.

I often trim fabric--then lay a ruler on the right side to measure with a 2nd ruler--rather than flipping the fabric to cut from the left side. I even did both to see if that could be the issue--but nope--both were exactly the same.

I sewed two 2" pieces together--and then even 1" pieces together and measured--the 2" one was a hair under 3.5" but the 1" one was nailed. Maybe it's the overall seam allowance, but the weird part is it's always in the same places where the problems happen.

Sigh--I'll finish it up and follow a nice easy pattern next. lol

    I appreciate all the suggestions!

Sure! :-) I tried responding to your blog, but got an error message. Let me know where to send it via personal messages...
