I am enchanted with the disappearing 9 patch. You can watch a videa at Missouri Star quilt company. Happy New Year to all!

for the original question, the kaleidoscope popped into my head as soon as I saw the fabric on the left but the other ideas are good too. Let us see what you do!

There are some books and/or patterns that say 'Take 5' and your done. There are several patterns that use 5 1 yard pieces of fabric and you could use the last for borders. Kathy Brown does one book. Also there are several '6 Halves Make a Whole' You could probably work with one of those to give you something beautiful.

Ohhh, such beautiful fabrics!! My first instinct would be to make placemats, napkins, table runner, etc. Something to show off the gorgeous designs on their own.

A gal in our Guild has made a couple of beautiful Christmas quilts with fabrics similar to yours. Have you checked out Quilters Cache for block ideas?

I saw a quilt picture posted a while back made up of oriental fabrics. It was just squares and rectangles set together with a narrow black sashing around each block. It was absolutely gorgeous! If I remember correctly it was on the order of a turning 20 or yellow brick road setting. I will look to see if I have it in my bookmarks.

Keva... maybe you'll dream of the answer and talk about it in your sleep again....LOL!
It's beautiful fabric. I was thinking you could do feathered star blocks so you could showcase the larger prints on larger fabric pieces and not lose the lovely design.

Loved the fabric, but my brain is too tired from all the sewing I did for Christmas to think of a pattern for you.

I couldn't find the picture but QUILTER CHICK posted a link that is quite like what I was talking about. The fabric is SO beautiful that cutting into quite small pieces would take away. Larger pieces would really show it off!!
