Default Need suggestions for Kindle & cell phone project

I'm wanting to make a little patchwork cover for my Kindle ... of course I want it quilted and pretty!

Also thinking of making a little cell phone pocket since some of my clothes do not have pockets and I need my phone nearby! I'm thinking something cute & quilted ... maybe with a buttonhole, which would attach to my waistband (on which I will sew a button) ....

Any bright ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Check out Moda's site ... I've seen patterns there that'll help you out! Just have never paid attention to them, as I don't have the need!!

I made a cover for my Kobo reader (similar to Kindle) I used a piece of cardboard from a cereal box and cut it to fit the Kobo like a book cover - cover front and back and one side. Then made a slip cover over that with cotton. When closing in the edge that the cardboard slipped in, I attached a tab to fold over to the front and secure with hook and loop tape.
To hold the Kobo inplace, I made loops of lace for the four corners. The bottom loops attached under the Kobo with a tiny piece of hook and loop tape.
