Count me in with the rest...the green border has to go!

Thats exactly what my thoughts were...

Same here.....I had to look again.....love the quilt but agree the green would look great framing the center but I bet your Aunt and Uncle would be delighted in whatever you decide! What a great gift!

I agree! The floral border looks great....The green needs to go. Bind in the dark blue or the yellow and it will be beautiful.

    I agree with this idea.

    ***Update***

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions..... most were in agreement with me that the borders needed to be re-done. I am very pleased with the revision and ready to get this baby quilted!!!

To the poster who "instructed me" how to apply borders so that they would not be wavy.... ..... With the first picture, I did not exert much effort to assure the quilt top was straight on my design wall..... Guess I was not expecting a review by the 'Quilt police'.

I like the quilt very much except the green outer border....I think its a great job and anyone would be proud to own it.

I agree- although I might put a narrow solid border around the blocks.

I absolutely LOVE the quilt now! That yellow border adds so much to the quilt and really makes the yellow triangles pop! Such a pretty buttery yellow to boot. Very nice and not at all ugly anymore! Good job!!

I agree I never saw the green last border either. It should end at the blue flowered border.
