    Default Need suggestions for pattern

    Hi all !!!

I bought this fabric in Germany and would like to make my sister a table runner or table topper.
Can any one suggest a pattern? Really appreciate any help you can give me.

I am imagining that you prefer not to cut up this beautiful fabric.

How about the 10 minute table runner?

10 min sounds good but I think I would have to fussy cut both into squares and join so I don't cut anything in half.

I wouldn't want to cut up the fabric. I would just decide the size you wanted to make, cut a panel from the the second fabric and do some sort of border around it using the first print.

I would just cut apart the panels and reverse one where the sky was together and use the other one as border or backing. Too cute to cut up.

If you have any scraps left over, they would look great in my scrap stash!! LOL
I love, love, love this fabric.

I saw a cute table runner at the quilt show I attended last weekend. They used 2 1/2" sqs to make up the body of the table runner (you could use the turquoise print instead) and then bordered it on each end with the border. The border could either be at each end of the top of the table or long enough to hang down over the edge.

I think I would fussy cut the bottom one and border it with the top. Depending on how much fabric that is it might make two runners, so one for you too.
