Hi i was ask to make a butterfly hankie quilt..i cant decide on colors..she likes green and do not have anything in green so i border with what i had and add blue to match the dots in the green..i think the border looks too modern to go with the old hankies...the second picture is my second choice...help me ..any suggestions or comments...Thanks

The first picture fits the elegance of the hankies. The second takes away from the hankies.

I like both the plain and the floral, but I like the blue in the first picture better.

First one. It is visually more striking. It draws more focus to butterflies. And it is closer to what one would expect in a vintage quilt (solid colored borders).

The floral is very striking and takes the eye away from the hankies. The first keeps the hankies as the focus.

The blue would be good if it was a softer shade. I think the blue you have is too hard
