I've been working on my Woven Comfort quilt blocks and things are coming along nicely. Not quite 1/2 way.. but I've been trying to come up with an idea on how to quilt it. I need some suggestions and know that I've come to the right place for that.

I will be machine quilting this. I don't want it to be too busy, but I do want a little something extra besides SITD.

So bring it on.... I will consider all your suggestions.

Here is a pic. of the blocks on the design wall. They are not squared up yet in this pic. but it will give you an idea of what I've got.

    21 blocks completed

I'm not sure about the rest buy I would put a pretty motif in each red diamond.

Okay, this may sound odd to everyone. But, when I first saw the picture and the name, I instantly thought of hot cocoa. What if you put a hot cocoa mug in each red squares with steam coming out of it? I think I'm just craving hot cocoa right now. I love the quilt it is beautiful and looks warm with the colors you chose.

Thank you littlhud, I never thought of doing something in the red. Great idea... The four corners come together to make that diamond but since it's not pieced together yet... I was not even thinking about that area.

See, I knew I came to the right place. 100's of very talented quilting minds at my fingertips. LOL I love this board.

LOL Magnolia That was a very fitting observation.. hot cocoa.... sounds like we both need some of that. Yummy!

The picture of the quilt did not do it justice. (I was intrigued by the pattern) .. I changed a pale tan (almost muslin color) to white and it made all the difference in the world on how the entire quilt looked.

Thanks you all for your comments. Keep them coming. Once I get this top finished, I want to be able to get started on the quilting ASAP. Otherwise, I'll have another UFO. We don't want that now, do we???
