I prefer the second one, but that's just what is "personal preference". You can't go wrong with these two layouts. It's just an individual decision. You've done a great job! So which one do you like best? It's your creation, after all. Trust in yourself!

I really like your colour scheme and that cute novelty fabric  . I think either layout is gonna look lovely, the first gives movement in your quilt and the second gives a smooth line which draws the eye across the quilt. Go for the effect you like best :P . That's gonna be one lucky baby to get that quilt

Ohhh I'm really diggin the second one toni!!! I liked the first one...but LOVE the second one!!!

Looking at the first one...I see a nine patch with half triangles first (is that what your hubby saw?)...then i see the star. It looks great...but I'm sticking with the second one as my favorite.

Both are great, but I think I prefer the second one. However, I am not a baby (at least about most things), and I think the first one has a lot of movement, which a young child might like. It's up to you--this is your creation, so do what YOU like!

Both are wonderful, but I prefer the pinwheels - first I saw the blue ones, then when I went back to it, I saw the yellow ones! fun - fun - fun! :D
