Go ahead and quilt them, they are colorful, nice to give and get, especially a child. I do the same with scraps that I have left over and donate them, they always come in handy. Better to use what God gave us than to toss it.

I didn't think of the headless teddy bears when I cut them. I just cut them in strips as far as the fabric went. Do we really think it might scare a young child? I honestly never thought of it until someone mentioned it.

As a child, I would have been upset by it. Not everyone notices things like that . . . but many do. Is there a way you can remove those strips? Or maybe sew a ribbon over them? Other than the headless bears, it's a fun piece.

It is different, but I mean that in a good way. Definitely quilt it, a little one would love the colors and snuggle in it. You have done a good thing so take it to the end.

you could also applique large solid color flowers on or boats made from half hexagons for the boat. keep going.
