Default Needed: Quilt Friend in San Angelo, TX?????

I'll be in San Angelo for a week this summer and will be staying with my son and grandson. I'd love to meet somebody who lives there to go do quilty and crafty stuff for a day----to save my long-suffering son from having to go do this with me! ((( This is the kid who started to cry when we pulled into the Hancock Fabrics parking lot, every time we did it, starting before he turned two!)))

If you live in SA or nearby enough, I'd love to meet you and see the city through your eyes.....Please private message me and let's chitchat a little! I'll be glad to return the favor to you if you're ever in the Atlanta area, too!

Look forward to hearing from you!

    Dotty (aka teacherbailey)

I'm not is SA, but do get to the Atlanta area frequently (DD and family live in Decatur). I have a dear friend from high school in MI who also now lives in Decatur, and she just bought her first sewing machine in 40 years. When I visit next we are planning a "crafty/quilty/embroidery" day, and would love company if you'd like to join us there.
And I just chuckled when I read about your son crying when you pull into Hancock's parking lot. I can surely relate to that!!!

I can relate to the son crying about Hancock's...my oldest son would open his arms as we were going to enter the door of the store and scream "NO, Mommy!!! No more fabric!!!" he was 3.
