    I vote for the white, it makes the whole quilt pop! The flange idea is exciting.

    IMHO.....no white and cut the black outter border narrower....I personally think it is making to HUGE of a statment and detracting from the individual blocks. Do you have a planning board, you need to put this somewhere where you can step back and look at the overall effect.....just my thoughts...

    I prefer the white. To my eyes it brings out the lighter blocks of the quilt.

    I think it needs the white, but not in the position it is in. I would put it first.

    I, too, think a thin white flange would provide contrast without distraction.

    I like your idea of a narrow border between the purple and floral...but i don't think white...a little to "loud" that way - and this seems to be more of a "speaks softly" quilt. Love your color choices !!!!

    White seems too stark. I agree with a very thin white flange and play with re-arranging your borders.

    Very lovely fabrics and nice quilt!
