    Default which needle to use

    I am going to quilt a cotton top with minky backing with no batting, what type of needle should I use? TIA

    on your domestic machine? I would suggest a 14 topstitch to get nice, even stitches. Also, remember that the Minky (and similar fabrics) do have stretch one direction and you will want to keep.
