Needs a new machine
#11
Go to dealers and test drive. When I did that, I found a few I didn't like at all, then found what I liked. It is best to feel them for yourself. Oh, and take your own fabric to see how it works. They always have fabric that is super easy to demo on, but not what we usually use. Have fun!

You need to see what is out there for all that you want to do and then set up how much you want to spend. You can get some good deals but you should test drive them to see what you like about each one and how it fits into your sewing needs. I just got a Viking Ruby and I love it; great for embroidery, a larger throat for quilting and alot more. I also have a Viking #1 that I also love but will be sold when it gets out of being serviced since I have too many machines now. I also have a Kenmore/Janome that I love but it doesn't do embroidery but is great to take to classes since it's ligher in weight. It's amazing how many different brands and types that are out there. Start researching to find something that meets your needs and finances.
