We all must like putting ourselves under pressure! I'm doing the same thing with a queen size quilt, and cushions to match a child's loveseat rocker! Been very busy!!!

Christmas decorating & baking will have to wait until these are done. Lesson: Three quilts to complete at Christmas was a not so smart idea.

I did the same thing last year but mine were rag quilts. I do well under pressure, but that would have been too much for me!

I did 3 lapquilts and 1 queen this year, and although they all turned out great--it took the fun of quilting out--and put the pressure to perform on. Lesson learned!

I had a friend make the same "mistake," so I learned from her and I got all three of my grandkids' quilts done in September (they helped pick out the fabric in July).

I'm with you and this is the last time I do it, but G-kids are worth it.
Next time I will start earlier.

I have 9 tops of Christams skirts done and have to quilt them and bind them yet. I too work better under pressure. My husband always thinks I am insane. but I can't change my mind if i have to get it done NOW.

I did the same thing this year, for five Grandaughters. I,m working on the third one, (quilting) and the top for the4th
is done. That will have to be sandwiched and finished. The fifth I don't think is going to make it for the holiday. It has to be shipped out of town. I think I,m going to have some "splaining" to do.
I know she will understand but I feel bad that it won't be done.
I will never put that kind of pressure on myself again.

Oh gee, none of us would EVER try that! Ha. I didn't make quilts, but I sure backed myself into a corner this with other projects.
