I have a quilt frame but I thought it was only for hand quilting and I haven't even used it yet. It came with instructions to set it up but not on how to use it. How would I baste with it?

What brand is it? Maybe with more info about, someone here could help you. I'm sure you could baste your quilt on it, just not sure how to load it, if you have no instructions. Check the brand it is, online too, that might help you out...

Wish I could come help you with the tapeing, pinning, etc. I just finished helping a friend do similar and it went fast with two.

I don't quite know the brand name of the quilting frame. The box it came in was quite old and worn. I'll have to check it out tomorrow, in daylight.

This is Sharon Schamber's method of basting a quilt, using boards - no more ruined knees! This is a 2-part video, be sure to see the next one too!
I do mine this way. Using a spray is not for me because of breathing issues and I hate sewing with pins. This is so easy.
