i don't do hand either but love to embroider designs and applique them on every thing especially clothes am doing a quilt block tonight for swap gotta get back to it in a few after i rest
how ever you choose to do it you will likely enjoy it. to me it is as addicting as quilting i have hundreds of appliques ready to go on something or be sold i keep my little brother embroidery machine in the kitchen running while i am doing other things
