Hello quilting friends,
I'm in the process of figuring out what type of quilt I want to make for my 4th baby (I have 3 boys who all got quilts made by mommy). I'm looking for some EASY ideas - appliques for dinosaurs, butterflies, etc. I'm thinking of doing a rag quilt - any nice baby patterns out there. I've tried looking at some books in the stores, but nothing is catching my fancy. I'm hoping to do 2 quilts - boy and girl as we do not know the gender of this baby!
Thanks for your help,
Kim

Hi Kimjoy, In the homepage section is a link for pictures, oodles of pictures of completed tops and quilts. Also if you click on the search link and enter in baby quilts or applique you may find some ideas there. Good Luck and congrats on the upcoming event :D

I just made a baby quilt for a boy and used Mickey Mouse fabric. You can view it at this link. It was very easy and I downloaded the directions from the internet. It you want the directions just PM me and I'll send you the link.

You could use any fabric for the squares it doesn't have to be Mickey could be dinosaurs or cars or anything your heart desires.

Congrats on the new baby. I made the Warm Wishes http://quiltmaker.com/patterns/patt4/#quilttop using the Classic Winnie the Pooh fabric. For the 3 strips in the alternating blocks I used pink gingham, blue gingham and yellow gingham for the center. An equal opportunity quilt.
