Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the New Companion treadles? I was lucky enough to win an auction on ebay and got it for less than $37.00! I pick it up tomorrow, it's a two hour drive from me. The description said it was from a Perry Mason Co. and it needed a new belt and a little servicing, to get her tip top. Unfortunately someone painted the cabinet white...and I want to refinish it back to the original look, if possible. It also has alot of original accessories. I would have much prefered a Singer, but couldn't pass up the price! Thanks~ Chris

Sounds great! Check out the vintage machine section to see if they can help you.

That's a beautiful machine you won! Really, at that price any repairs needed are worth it.

Lucky for you that seller wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. 5 day auction!!!! Starting price at $1!!! And he's also not too smart for accepting PayPal for a pick up.

Great, great deal for you!! Safe driving when you go to pick it up.
