New design wall
I took a picture (with phone) of my design wall after reading someone's thread on using felt for a design wall. Naturally, with nothing on the wall it looks sort of silly.
But it's 2 sheets of 4'x8' 3/4" insulation you buy at Lowe's. Then a small section 2'x4' of backer board glued with liquid nails across the top. I covered it with plain white cotton that you buy at Joanne's for quilt backs, the 108" wide stuff cut in 1/2 down the middle.
Screwed in two small screws at each top corner, looped a piece of wire around them and hung them on regular nails. It's wonderful as I can stab pins into it to hold quilt pieces and leave it for as long as need be without worry it will be knocked down.
Sorry the picture is bland without something hanging there
