I teach alot of classes and have to make samples all the time so my sewing room is fill with UFO's to the ceiling. I actually make a schedule each week and insert projects on any open time to get things finished. Smaller things like pincushion, craft items are easiest to complete and make you feel like something is accomplished. Purses, sample blocks, scrap projects are next and quilt tops, bindings, clothing are for weekends or three snow days off work. This way family and friends still get the attention they need and I complete many projects on a regular basis. Moosegirl

I would beat every one is more organized than I am. I have 5 or 6 plastic bins plus a book shelf full of fabric. Everytime I want something I have to go digging, and sometimes don't find it, so I go buy more fabric. We just can't pass up fabric, this is a disease that is for sure.

My husband said to me one day while we were in a fabric store, that I should get a couple yards of every fabric in the store, if I did that I would have to move out of the house. Is he crazy or what? He just have no idea how much fabric that would be or what it would cost. At $10.00 plus a yard.

I would love to live near you and learn some new things. I like making other things besides quilts. Some time the quilts get to be to much. I am working on one right now, that I have partially put together, had to make more squares and now I think I am going to take some of the squares apart and rearrange them. I am not sure of the size it is looking like a King size. Right now it is making me crazy. My friend said you need to set it aside at that point, I hate doing that because I might not go back to it.
