Step 2: Make a list of quilts / bags / gifts you want to make to use up your fabrics.
Step 3: Look at your list, get overwhelmed, and go read the quiltingboard for awhile. That should soothe your soul and get your creative juices going again.
Step 4: Sit at your machine, and try to decide which project to work on.
Step 5: Give in, Buy more fabric, but make sure it's on sale.
Step 6:Look at the fabrics you have in your stash, and decide that you don't like some anymore. Start pulling those out of your stash, for the garage sale pile. Oh, that pink & yellow look nice together... Maybe hang onto them a little longer.
Step 7: Tell your family you're on a "fabric diet" and that your disease is under control.
Step 8:Browse thru the LQS catalog/flyer/ad and let your mind wander on a quilt design.
Step 9: Check the quiltingboard again to see all the new posts and chat with your friends. Drool over other posters' pretty tops.
Step 10: Get back to your machine and start again. Put away the current project because you really, really want to cut out that new quilt design you saw, and are itching to begin.
Step 11: Get overwhelmed, too many projects to choose from, don't know where to start. Start mindlessly working on one, but start two more.
Step 12: Realize that there is no cure... grab some chocolate, make a cup of your favorite tea, and start reading new posts again...

Why would anyone want to be cured? Not me. I'm going for terminal and multiple conditions. I just want a T-shirt. LOL

I totally agree as I have had this condition for years. 15 mins to couple hours a day helps. You won't be cured but you're happy about it. Talking helps too especially over a cup of coffee or tea with those with the same "illness". This QB is a wonderful support group helping deal with this disease.

I am suffering from it too. Glad to have a name for it as I was getting worried.

My ailment is so bad that I've ignored the kitchen and all the pans left over from previous "cleanups" and walked right into the dining room/quilting studio so I could work on my project. I finally rinsed them out and stuck them in the dishwasher! Is that quilticus lazyitus?
