    Default New Gidget II Table

Well, I finally did it! I have been wanting a sewing table that can recess the machine to be flush. Trouble is space and budget. Would love a Horn cabinet, but even if I could afford it, there is no place to put it. After a lot of searching and reading reviews, I just ordered the Gidget II. Just looking to sew in my little corner and get off the kitchen table!!!

I have the same table only by Arrow and I love it. I ordered the insert too which comes from another area. You have to call them and give them the name and make of your machine so they can cut the insert to fit perfectly. Mine has he wheels on it to roll when broken down and to travel with. Money well spent....

I have it and love it. I use it when I go to classes or workshops.

That's great! I don't have that table, but I LOVE having my machine recessed. I bet you're excited! :-)

I got mine for Christmas and it works perfect for me. I keep it up all the time in my tiny bedroom for piecing, then move out to the enclosed porch when I'm quilting so I can have more space. I have a couple of folding tables that I butt up to it when I'm quilting. It's great!

I have the Gidget table but it's too heavy to take to classes. I love it, it's sturdy and easy to adjust the insert table by moving the thumbscrew hook thing to a different chain link. My Bernina 1260 fits perfectly and the machine extension table fills the inset hole all around the machine.

Good to hear that you like it. I am really excited. Seems like a small thing, but having space is really a big thing.

It is not a small thing - have your machine set down in your table providing you with a flush working space is a huge wonderful thing. If you need more room, pushing other tables next to it will work just fine!!!

Having your machine set down in your table will enable you to sew for longer periods of time!

I checked out a site for it, but need more information. How large is the cut out for the machine? Where do you buy the insert? How low can the lower table be set?
