I got them for a gift but haven't used them yet. I was thinking of a "braid" like they showed on their website tute.

haven't see that particular ruler...but it looks like a triangle ruler with the top cut off. Looking at the utube instructions the largest side appears to be 5" wide and fits on a 2 1/2" jelly roll fabric.

    Hmmmmm....got a triangle ruler?

Oh WAIT!!! Kaye Woods did that with her triangle rulers BUT folded the fabric in half first. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXYiTYj_crg Don't want to mess with inset seams...cut the full hex in half

I have both sizes from Missouri Quilt and the big 9 1/2 " hex die for the Go. The 9 1/2" hex is great for a fast braid quilt! and it's big enough to cut in half and not have to worry about the seam allowance for the hexagon look.

I think I may have to invest in this ruler.
