Ordered on the 1st, arrived today, WOW, so fast. Great service from Amazon. She is the brother 1500 high speed quilter to go on my frame to replace my broken baby. Barely had to do any adjusting, she sews and sounds great, love her. Now to think of a name.

Just looked at it on Amazon! It is a beaut!! Keep us up to date on how it works, since I will be in the market for a new machine in about 6 months. How wide is the throat?

It is 9 in. That is what my other one was. Can't afford anything bigger, and my darling dad bought this for me.

I have this machine. If you have trouble with the needle coming unthreaded when using the auto thread cutter, by pass the three hole bar or only thread one of the holes. That is the only problem I have had with the machine.

Thank you for the tip, will keep it in mind in case I have that problem. I am just using her for the first time this morning and so far I love her. Only problem I am having is controling my speed, boy can she go fast. My Viking Mega has a speed setting, will have to get used to not having one, will come with practice.

How do you like it on the frame? I have the same machine, love it too, but I am very frustrated with the working space. Until I can afford a true long arm machine, I may just stipple meander with the machine off the frame.

Thank you for your tip Bellaboo. My Juki which is very similar to the Brother 1500 loves to unthread the needle when I use the thread cutter. Hope your tip works on a Juki too.
