Congratulations - how very exciting to get a new sewing machine - even better with a serger too.

Woohoo! Congratulations! Enjoy! I work in a hospital and I don't think I will ever have an elective procedure...

You're so funny! You really didn't want your eyebrows in the middle of your forehead - did you? LOL Congrats and have fun with your new machines!

Congratulations to you! Did you also take advantage of the special sale on digitizer Jr. software? If you buy any Janome machine, you can purchase the Jr. software for $150.00 which is a savings of about $300. If this is news to you, log on to the Janome home site for details. I don't want to create my own designs, but there are several things available on embroidery software that I would like to do. I just haven't been properly motivated to buy any software, except the Janome Customizer. Normally, Janome digitizing software is priced "out of sight", but this is a good deal that I would take advantage of if I were buying a new machine.

Fantastic. Did you know that if you lie on the bed with your head back, nothing droops? Now you just have to figure how to suspend your sewing machine from the ceiing (sideways). The best of both worlds!

    Congrats on your new babies!

The heck with the lift....beauty is on the inside. Eat,exercise and be happy in life and that will get you looking and feeling well. Almost enough to have a weekend quiltfest.

Congrats on the machines - it was a well deserved and well spent purchase. You will enjoy them for years to come. Have fun.

I'm absolutely going to retire in March or April of next year, so....i decided the hubs and I would just have to live with droops, and I went out and bought myself a brand new Janome memory Craft 1100 Special Edition sewing maching AND a Baby Lock Evolution Serger - using most of my face lift fund to pay for them!!! WAHOOOO. The sales lady included a free 6 piece foot set for the serger as well as a Baby Lock serger tote, and a huge clothsetter, custom fit table thing for the Janome. I picked it all up today!! I am so excited. Included with both machines is 10 YEARS of unlimited service and cleaning. The bummer is that I have to work tomorrow until about 1:00, and then have to go with my husband to get him a new cell phone (he, the lucky dog, is retiring Sept 30). But on Sunday - it is just me and the new machines!! Actually, I'm only to start on the Janome. I've never used a Serger before, so am going to wait until I have the lessons (as many as I need/want included in the price). Just had to tell folks - I AM SO EXCITED.
After all I've done in my life, I always just figured I earned every line, bag, wrinkle and age spot. They are my "Mom badge of Office". lol!

I bought a Babylock Evolve serger when I retired. Don't waste any money on lessons - they are so easy to use and thread that there is no need for lessons.Put the money toward material - you will be much happier!
