I love using Kwik Clip or the nut pick as it saves the fingers. The pin clips on top of the pins is just another big expense. Try the nut pick...most of us have them and don't use them...especially the set of 6 all at one time. It must be old-fashioned for six people to sit around the nut bowl picking nuts.

I've never pin basted, I only use basting spray. That's the way I learned to baste and haven't tried any other way.

I'm guessing that you meant this was for pin basting?

You can use an old fashioned grapefruit spoon, the kind with serrated edges. I think they are easier to hold.

I use a small screwdriver in my left hand to fasten and unfasten safety pins.

Its for using with safety pins to baste your quilt. People with asthma and other respiratory issues cannot use the basting spray. I use the quilters curved safety pins.

I have one. When you are putting all those safety pins in your quilt it saves your fingers from hurting...love it.... :thumbup:

I absolutely love mine. I couldn't pin without it. The grove holds the pin just right. No slippage.
