    Default New-to-me sewing machine

I won the auction! I have been watching www.shopgoodwill.com at older sewing machines. I only watch the location close to my home so I don't have to pay for shipping. I made the winning bid on a Singer 40K sewing machine and it's mine! It is so darn cute! It even came in the original box - the original price was $14.95 -- I wish that was all I paid for it - lol. My five year old grandson could hardly wait to try it. He went to my quilting group with me and spent a long time with a strip of leftover binding - it had quite a few lines of sewing on it by the time he was done. It is a hand crank machine and does not have a bobbin - I think I am addicted to this website.

Cool! enjoy your new machine. As a retired kinder first grade teacher -- even cooler, letting the grandson just have at it! Way to go grandma!
