Superior Threads has come up with a new needle, Topstitch needle. Has anyone purchased and used these? The eye is supposed to be a little larger reducing the stress on the thread.

Hadn't heard about these. I will be interested to hear how well they sew.

Will check these out. Have used topstitching needles for years. Good for heavier weight threads.

I had only heard of them because I get the newsletter from Superior Threads. I think that I will order a package as I am curious about these.

I just purchased Titanium coated topstitch 90/14 Superior needles and really like the results. They are for quilting, applique and embroidery. I used embroidery thread with bottom line and got beautiful stitches with these needles.

Have received several emails from Superior Threads but deleted them without viewing as my mail box was full of ads. Guess they were trying to tell me about their new needles. I would like to try them. Are they available at Connecting Threads? That's where I ordered Superior Threads from a few months ago. May in Jersey

OOPS, I think you are confusing Superior threads with Connecting Thread's flagship thread called "Essential Thread". They are completely different. Except for the fact they both have the word thread in their name. ;)

Superior threads is a manufacurer that makes thread like King Tut, Bottom Line, So Fine, etc. Here is Superior Threads website:
