    Default New/old quilt

Just watched Fons Porter series 2300 program where Marianne copied an old 9 patch done in a circular design. I personally did not like the new version, and not the old one either, although it is historical. She did a great job of updating and showing how to do it.....sidebar: Marianne has let her hair grow long and it really does not compliment her face...makes her face look longer and ages her. I thought she looked better with short hair. Mary has changed the color of her hair, but needs a nice do! JMHO. Also, they are using a new iron, I think name was Reliable....ever heard of it? Wonder what happened to Oliso.........

Was it a re-run or have they decided retirement isn't what they wanted?

It was Liz who retired. As for the iron, maybe they got a new sponsor. I noticed they changed sewing machines a while back.

When ever they change machines or irons or anything on the show that is a product .. its all about who will sponsor or make the biggest $$$ contributions.

I have never seen the show (not available in my area). I do own 2 Reliable irons and love them. One is the
Reliable Velocity Compact Vapor Generator V50. It is the wonderful orange one. It has an override for the auto shut off so you can keep the heat up all day if you want and It has never dripped spewed or sputtered one drop of water. Great steam when you want it. I love this iron but they are a bit $$ ,150.00ish.

I also have the Digital Velocity V95, a pretty blue one, more heavy duty and I use this one for cloths. Love this one too!

I am not affiliated with the company in any way. Just a great product, imho.

    peace

scroll down for a picture of the quilt

I don't watch it for new hairs styles anyway, mines about 20 years old, at least she's trying to change with the times....LOL!

I didn't watch the show, but I have to say that I love the quilt. It's very graphic and modern.

(I'm not even going to touch the hair issue. My style is about 45 years old...lol.)

Don't care for the quilt either. I am a traditional girl. Never did keep up with hair styles, mine is curly so does what it wants to!
