    It's beautiful. Lucky you to give the old quilt a new home. I think someone on the board shared your block with me. I didn't realize at the time that it was your design. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

    Thats great to hear. You did a wonderful job on making the piece block. How are the quilts coming out that you are making for the service people ? Cant wait to see them.

    I had always been wondering about the pattern I kept seeing on the board about this candlequilter star. Now I know. Its really a pretty star and you are really lucky to have had the chance to get the original quilt where you got your inspriation.

    I love the quilt, and your story, and I think it is great that you designed a pattern from it. The real bonus for you is that you now own this treasure quilt. Good job!
