I think at least 30 years, so that would make it almost half of my life! I knew from a young age that if I wanted new cloths I would have to learn to sew. Having four older sisters and a mother who sewed helped me to preserver and forge ahead even when I wanted to quit! So glad I didn't quit!

I made my first quilt when I was 12. That was 52 years ago. I have loved fabric since I was a small child. I remember begging my mom to let me look into her "scrap" box when I still took naps, before I started scool.

I've been sewing for 50 years and quilting for only about 30. I started in 1980 with a class at a LQS and enjoyed it so much.
