    Thank you all for your help. I will be adding borders most likely solid I need to see what I have to work with and I like the ideas of echoing the deer heads stitching. Hope I have some time this week end. I will post the finished product . Hopefully soon but it is harvest time at the University station and I get very busy.

    Remember that when you quilt it, the quilt will shrink up so you will probably not cover the top of the bed unless you add another border or two..

    I think two boarders. First a 2" light boarder and then a 3 or 4" dark boarder would look great and make the quilt POP!
