I would suggest laying them out... taking a picture of it... changing the layout... take another picture, etc and then look at the pictures and decide which layout you like the best.
I personally chuck the squaring up stuff. Life's too short to have to deal with even more scraps! I have too many scrap boxes as it is.

Lynnie -- how would you attach the jellyfish body to the quilt? I can see it but just not sure how to attach it so it stands up off the quilt.

That sounds beautiful -- I might give that a try!

I have nothing for you on the skinnies! I toss mine without hesitation

I put mine on my design wall, then look at them thru a door peep, I bought at Lowes for a couple of dollars.

I love the colors you have chosen and agree with others that you need to put them on the design wall, take pictures and then decide. Are they all batiks? Not sure about the scraps.... Please let us know what you decide!

I like both Susanb and WTxRed idea. Do you have enough to lay them out diagonally. I absolutely adore your colors. I think your idea will work for coral. Just be sure it is not going to be a quilt you wash and make sure you stipple the tiny strips down. Good Luck !!
