Everyone that lives in Colorado, there is a new store at 2805 S. Broadway. I think that's in Englewood. It's called Wooden Spools, Quilting and More. They buy books that you might not want anymore and fabric from your stash you may not want, and then resell it. I think this is an awesome idea. Their phone number is #303-761-9231. Go visit them and let's help a new store stick around. Unfortunately, we have lost Great American Quilt factory, let's not lose any more.

Wow...that's a haul from Morrison too though isn't it?

Have you ever been to Denver Fabrics?

I used to live in Castle Rock & Elizabeth and enjoyed going to Denver Fabrics along with allllll the other wonderful shops in the Denver Metro area....

Now I live in Possum Trot where we have an IGA, fire station and minutemart...lol talk about culture shock.

Although, I am only 15 minutes from the Quilt Musuem....

Glad to know there is a new place to shop. I didn't know Great American Quilt was gone. Was going to take a ride there one of these days. Did find Emily's Sewing Basket which is on W Colfax in Lakewood, but haven't been back there

We've got two more opening up as well. There is a shop called Snappy Quilts at 2500 E Orchard that will open sometime in March and Tomorrow's Heirloom's is reopening with a different owner in a week or so. Tomorrow's Heirlooms is at 136th and I-25 by Lowe's.

Is there anyone here that lives in Colorado Springs? What Quilt Shops do they have there and where are they located? My son lives there but the three times I have been there, I have not had any extra time to look for the Quilt Shops. I plan to go there in the next month or so and want to find the Quilt Shows. Would love to hear about them..............

Good to know. But I had no idea that Great American Quilt Factory closed!! When did that happen? I used to live closer to them and shopped there regularly, but we moved away. I was going to run over there this week! :-(
