New to quilting- binding help please!

The best tutorial that I have seen and that I ALWAYS use is by Heather Bailey. Go to www.hellomynameisheather.com and on the right you will see "tutorials." Under "tutorials" it will say "binding tutorial." She explains it perfectly! Pictures too:)

This is a good method.
You quilt your quilt before you do the binding. Leave about 5 inches of the batting and backing around the quilt then sew the binding on the front of the quilt.
