If you have access to a nurse, the suture removal scissors are perfect. I have several pairs and love them. The nurses I worked with saved them for me. They are easily sterilized. Good luck.

I thought they looked like suture removal scissors.

Reviews for these are not favorable.

The last pair of suture removal scissors I got at the Dr. office had changed. They are more a one time use tool now. Not worth keeping.

I have a pair that used to be used as cuticle scissors of my moms. They work well to grab those tiny stitches and are in my sewing room since her passing.

Those scissors look interesting...but I have the snips that FabQuilter mentioned. I have 3 of them...one for the sewing room, one for the TV room where I have a machine set up in there, and one for the craft room downstairs. I think they are the best ever. I usually can't get under a thread to cut with them like the ones EasyPeezy found, but the points on the ones I have are very narrow and certainly look like you'd be able to use as a seam ripper, but I don't have much luck in using it as such. But I really like them just the same!!!
