I love having great tools to work on any sewing or crafting that I work on but this just doesn't interest me. I use magnetic pin holders on the table and on my wrist. They are very convenient and I like the way the pins arrange themselves around the magnet. This gadget doesn't look like any fun.

I am a gadget-junkie so I bought one and absolutely love it. Before I had pin cushions all over and/or wasted time looking for one. Now I keep the gadget on my cutting table and a pin cushion at the sewing machine. I cut, pin and sew - when the pin cushion get rather full, I just transfer the pins back to the gadget and am good to go.

After reading through this thread, it looks to me as though they really haven't done their marketing research on this one. And this company has come out w/ so many innovative products in the past. Well, I don't suppose they all could have been winners. New tools are supposed to be a way of making things easier --- if they came up with a gadget that actually did the pinning for you...well, that's another story! LOL

I saw thoses too and was wondering "What will they think of next?" I also put several in my mouth, just like my dad did with his nails! My dad never had any problems and neither did I. Don't think I'll be buying one of thoses, too many other things that I need more than one of those contraptions!

Seems to me this is more trouble than it is worth. I think my pincushion is just as handy. I can get a pin from it with one movement instead of two.

I use the magnetic pin dish, I can pick up a pin an whole lot faster and cheaper. I don't see the advantage.

It's cute but doubt I would buy one. I would rather by a couple yards of fabric instead....if the price was $19.99. I can see a gadget freak (like my quilting buddy) getting one of these though.

I thought the same thing. Wouldn't take the "precision" time to push that lever then pick up that pin.
