Was wondering if anyone has tried this foot--it sounds like a good thing. Has to be used on low shank sewing machine--cost about $19 but you have to order online so shipping will be involved. I already have the other gathering/pleating foot which I seldom use. Would like to hear any results a person has had after using this. Thanks, Annie

I bought a generic gathering foot for my Bernina and never worked correctly. I then won an award that was a gift certificate for a Bernina dealership so I bought the one made for Bernina and it worked great.

Two of my vintage singers came with gathering attachment so I just use one of those machines when I need to gather.
