love your brights. i a sewing away on part 3. my brother is sounding a bit out of sorts. i will keep sewing with it until it stops (hopefully not) and then pull out my babylock. i really wish i had one of my singer 15-91's ready to go. i am gonna work on those as soon as the mystery is done.

I'm half way through sewing together the step three's. Got so bored I stopped and pressed them and went on to step four and have done half of that. I need a break to ice my knee (had surgery December 20th) and then I'll revisit step three. Think I'll try to figure out how to post a picture while I'm icing. Love seeing what everyone has done...they're all great!

I agree and am taking a lunch break. Just heating up some left overs.

I am part way through step 4. Here are some pictures, maybe.

Thanks for all the help with posting of the links, questions about the counts and everything. I know it would be more fun if we were all in the same location, but you all inspire me to keep going.

    Here's my layout in progress:

Warning: it's very easy to get the blocks turned around at this point. At least I got to use the nifty little fancy seam ripper my dad gave me for Christmas.

Loving all the pictures--your quilts are looking great!

I am really liking how all of you blocks are turning out. Step three was soooo boring. I'd sew some then pressed. Broke it up a little.

    Red face

Thank you all for the questions and pictures. I'm enjoying 'watching' everyone work. I hurt my back putting DH's VERY HEAVY walker with hand brakes and seat for someone who weighs 300# into the car at church this morning. (DH had knee replacement.)

I've taken two pain pills and two muscle relaxers and I DON'T DARE put a rotary cutter in my hand ... I feel like that commercial for decongestants where they show the cartoon woman with a balloon head ... LOL!
