I am so impressed. Everyone did a great job. I especially like the blue batiks - as I have many of those in my stash. I had hoped to do this but got sucked into a monumental housecleaning project and did not get my new sewing space set up in time. Looks like a great pattern for us novice quilters.

    Cheers, K

Here it is 5PM Tuesday and I'm done with my top! I did it, I did it. Don't know if I can figure out how to post pics here, however, will post to my FB accout - Vivian Nolen Wayland - this has been fun and my pics do no do the colors justice. Now to find out how to quilt it! Thanks everyone for your encouragement and support!

sharon where is the link to post on planet patchwork fb page? i have looked and cannot find it. i wanna see the qwuilts of others who participated. my sewing machine is stilll on the fritz some not sure when i will get the final borders on.

wanda lou i would offer one suggestion to save you some sewing steps, sew together 3 strip sets instead of 2-strip sets. it takes foreverrrrr to sew together all of the little 2 patches into 2x6 patches, instead you can cut 3 patches and sew together one time.

Havplenty....what a great suggestion, sewing strips of three. That would save so much time!

I finished mine today. I decided after i finished step five to make it larger than the pattern. Lots of extra work but I love it. Now I have to figure out how to get a picture from my iPad onto this forum. This was so much fun! Having everyone else posting and sharing was a huge motivation to keep at it. Thanks!

Yayyyyy!!! I just finished the quilt about an hour ago. I would have finished a couple of days sooner, but I pulled my back out and I was not able to go to the sewing machine. On January 1st, I was half way done with step 4. I wished I had been able to finish it by that night or the next day, but I had already been at the machine for 10 hours, and I was sooooooo tired. I am going to figure out how to post a picture here. I was going to use my Tablet, but I do not see an option for attaching a photo. It will be the first time for me to post a photo since I joined the messge board.
