A bit late in responding but I'm going to play again this year. It's so much fun trying to keep up!

I've got my fabric all cut and ready to go. How about you?

I had a horrid time trying to decide what to use. I finally selected this for the focus fabric. I've added a light blue for my light and a cream for the background. Lots of other colors for the scrappy bits. I'm ready!

    Let the fun begin! :D

I would like to but not sure if I have the time or energy, I have not even cleaned up from before Christmas in my sewing room. And not sure if I can get up in time, I am nearer the west so the start time is earlier than if I was on the east coast.

Hey! Just let everything go and play for the day! Trust me. All chores will still be there on Jan. 2! I know this for a fact.

As for the time of the day, I'm in California. I'll have to be up by 6:45 to be awake enough to sew by 7. It's too much fun to miss. I know, weird! I sure hope you decide to come play. I love seeing all the varieties of quilts that get made from the same set of directions.

I am not a morning person to start with and may not have my eyes open by that time, I wasn't worried about the mess, just the room to move in the sewing room, everything just kept being shoved aside in the midst of it and now there is more more shoving room so I have to straighten up some before doing anything, The kids are older and can amuse themselves, I did the one in the summer or there abouts and had a great time doing it, I ended up giving it away to a friend who loves it, I have a few days if I do end up getting my act together.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I might give it a try.

I love the focus fabric you chose. Where did you find it, or what company makes it. I can see it in my bedroom.

Thanks. The fabric came from my stash and heaven only knows when I bought it or what company made it. It was only a remnant. Sorry I can't be of any help.
