I've never done a mystery quilt before, and would love to try this! Like everyone else I'm in the throes of Christmas prep, so this will be a treat to look forward to after the holiday rush. I think I'll also shop my stash and see what I can come up with. If not, then off to the LQS I go!

I've done two mysteryquilts at my guild, and unfortuately, I discovered my sense of color does not lend itself to certain patterns...I actually named one "the hideous monstrosity" ...They were fun to do though!

they post "clues" - the next step usually hourly. I don't have a web cam either
We can post pics here or Ithink they said they will also have it on Facebook - but I have never had any luck with the chats they run

Ok I caved and bought fabric for the mystery
I pushed the boundaries with some of the fabric choices so I hope I like it when we start putting it together. I'll post my fabric tomorrow. I'm hoping I like the pattern cause I love the fabric

I will be joining you if I can get the fabrics selected and the precutting complete. Remodeling came to a standstill, so it's kindof hard to do anything, but I can set up for 2 days. I actually NEED a lap sized guy sortof quilt for my brother, so this actually has a goal in mind.
