Thank you! That makes sense. I wish the manufacturers would explain this when they have a rather large price increase like that - would go a long way towards goodwill and understanding. I understand exactly what Kaufman is saying, and so I won't be pissed when I see the prices on the new fabric I will become addicted to. :D Virg

Isn't it interesting India and China want to protect their industries!!!!!!!!! Wish we had that backbone here and would keep industry here at home. Now we know whoses fabric to buy.

Thank you for the information. I wish everything was woven and printed in the USA but know it won't happen!

I'm looking forward to seeing them. Sweet little Charlie Brown is one of my favorite characters.

They are very cute! There is a border stripe, one with the characters all tossed (either pale blue or pale green background), Snoopy on either red or blue, one with the chacter portraits in squares, a coordinating dot, and then one that makes it REALLY fun: it's a black zigzag stripe on a yellow background, just like Charlie Brown's shirt. Such a simple design but it adds so much to the group! There will be a free project pattern to make a quilt using these, too.
